Features of the heating pad microwave for neck pain?

Filled with 600 grams of seeds and lavender in the ideal proportions so that our bag fits perfectly to our body. It is important to note that the amount of filling used is tested so that it fits perfectly to the different areas of the body and the seeds and flowers are distributed evenly throughout all parts of the bag.

The fabric used to store the seeds and for the cover of the neck and shoulder heating pad for microwave is 100% cotton. This fiber, besides being natural, is very resistant to both heating in the microwave and washing, which gives much more quality and longevity to the neck warmer for microwave.

The sleeve that carries the seeds is divided into 6 cells so that the seeds are better distributed throughout the bag and thus cover the entire area of application, these fit perfectly to the areas of the body.

What is the purpose and benefits of the microwavable heating pads for neck?

What is it for?

The microwavable neck wrap is the quick, natural and simple solution for those aches and pains in areas such as the neck, cervical, trapezius, shoulders or even throat as it relaxes the muscles and makes the blood flow better. It serves to relieve muscle spasms, strains, torticollis, whiplash, bad posture, bumps and bruises, also for sore throat, colds, dry cough, difficulty swallowing, inflammation etc..

In heat

  • Improve blood circulation
  • Relaxes muscles
  • Prepares muscles for physical activity
  • Decreases pain transmission
  • Warms muscles prior to massage
  • Reduces cramping pains

  • Contusions
  • Tendonitis
  • Sprains
  • Relieve pain
  • Reduce inflammatory processes
  • Releasing tension in muscles and joints

What are the benefits?

  • Hot: By using several days the cervical bag the pains will disappear thus avoiding taking chemical painkillers and muscle relaxants so harmful in the long term for our organism. In addition to offering a natural well-being by inhaling the essential oil of lavender.
  • Cold: The local cold treatment has been shown to be a potent anti-inflammatory free of chemicals. Take care of yourself naturally with the cold treatments offered by the cervical heat pack, hundreds of people already do it and are noticing its benefits for a better pain-free lifestyle.

Where to use?

The anatomical design of the cervical bag allows it to fit perfectly to the painful area of the neck, forehead, face, shoulders or throat, allowing it to be used while sitting, reading, watching TV or simply relaxing, without it falling or moving from its position. Having this elongated shape, it can also be used perfectly to warm your throat when you have a cold.

How to use the microwaveable heat pack for neck and shoulder?

Heat therapy

  • Step 1) Heat our cervical bag in our microwave at maximum power for about 1 minute and a half.
  • Step 2) We place the heating pack on the area to be treated for 15 to 20 minutes, we will feel how our muscles relax and the pain disappears.
  • Step 3) Incredible! The pain disappears and we will automatically feel better. We can repeat the process as many times as we want.

Cold therapy

  • Step 1) We cool our microwavable neck and shoulder wrap inside a bag in the freezer for about 2 hours prior to the cold treatment.
  • Step 2) Place the cervical bag on the painful area for about 10 to 15 minutes, you will feel how the area deflates thanks to the effects of cold.
  • Step 3) Congratulations! Thanks to the effects of cold therapy our pain and inflammation disappear. For maximum effectiveness apply 3-4 times a day.

F.A.Q: Frequently asked questions

How long to heat it in the microwave or in the oven?

This elongated shaped heatable neck wrap, ideal for the neck, needs 1:30 minutes in the microwave (800W) for us to enjoy all the benefits of heat on the neck. If you do not feel it is hot enough, reintroduce the neck warmer in the microwave and heat it in 15 second intervals until the desired temperature is reached. To heat in the electric oven, fold the microwavable neck wrap in half and wrap it with aluminum foil, then heat at 125°C (257°F) for 10-15 minutes.

How can I maintain it to make it last longer and increase its shelf life?

The duration of the therapeutic heating pad for microwave, will depend largely on the maintenance and conservation that we give it, since it is a natural and organic product. A good trick to ensure that it always heats up as quickly and retains heat for longer, is to splash a few drops of water every 6 months on the heating pad for microwave with your hands or spray it with a water spray. In this way we will be able to hydrate the seeds so that they maintain their power to retain heat and gradually warm us up. When not in use, store in a dark, dry place and never in a plastic bag, unless stored in the freezer.

How long does the microwavable lavender neck wrap last for hot or cold?

This neck heating pad is going to be used frequently around the neck and in a room at room temperature, so if it is colder in the environment, the heat will dissipate sooner, but we will still be able to enjoy the warmth for 30-40 minutes for sure. The surprise will come if we decide to sleep with the sleeping bag inside the bed, to warm our feet, for example, because the next day if we touch it we will feel it still warm. When cold, after having spent a night in the freezer, we can apply it and enjoy for 10 minutes of a totally safe cold for our skin.

Can the microwave heated neck wrap be washed?

Of course it can be washed! To do this, each of our heat pillows has a removable cover that can be washed as many times as you wish, by hand or machine and always air-drying and not tumble-drying. To wash the cover, simply remove it like a conventional pillowcase and wash it at 104°F (40ºC). It can also be ironed with complete peace of mind. It is 100% cotton fabric and these natural fibers are very resistant to heat.

What will I receive with the purchase of the microwavable neck pillow?

What you’re going to receive is a gorgeous and practical heated neck pillow for microwave that you won’t want to stop using on a daily basis. It’s so easy to use and so convenient that every time you feel like using it or feel discomfort in your neck, you won’t think twice about heating it up and putting the heating pad on your neck. You will receive it in a nice cardboard box along with an instruction book so you can also give it as a gift with total confidence that the person who receives it will love it, and that he/she will know how to use it correctly with the syndications he/she will receive.

  5. 4 out of 5

Relaxing and flexible – My GP recommended a heatable wheat pack to relax my neck after an accident. I did some research and found this had good reviews. It’s more expensive than many alternatives, but it seems very good quality and I find it quite effective. It’s also better than gelpacks I’ve used previously because it is more flexible and can be wrapped around the neck or over the shoulder depending where heat is needed.

Pain relief – Can’t fault. It is perfect for easing my neck and shoulder pains. I have damaged tendons due to hyper mobility and was told by a physiotherapist that I needed to keep constant heat on my shoulder and neck to stop the inflammation. In purchasing this I wasn’t sure if it would help at all but it has helped pretty quickly. Quick zoop in the microwave and cosy long lasting heat is provided. Finally giving me much needed relief. It is nicely shaped with sewn individual sections and fits well around my shoulders giving an even distribution of heat to my neck and shoulder area.

Good – Bought to replace an ageing bean bag. I love the fact that this bag has segmented sections as this means that the contents stay put when using on your shoulder rather than falling to one end. The only problem I have found is that it doesn’t stay as hot for a long as my previous bag. It is however very comfortable to use and I like the fleece outer.

A good quality product – This is an excellent product. Bigger than the average wheat bag and sectioned so the contents don’t shift about. Nice smell of lavender too and a good quality covering. Would recommend.

Worth the purchase, quality materials and nicely stitched. – Great no fuss wheat bag…. stick it in the microwave for 2 minutes and your ready to go. The bag has a decent amount of filling in each of the 3 sections and the length will just about wrap around my collar. A hot heat condition is maintained for around 30 minutes and then it slowly cools down after an hour or so. I did not experience any dampness or odour during heating or in use.

Works well, keeps warm for quite a while – I bought this for my husband who has an issue with two discs in his neck. His physio told him to try warm (not hot) heat on the area a few times a day.Bought this as it could be microwaved at his work and the shape would fit his neck great. He says whilst it doesn’t exactly provide any pain relief it fits the shape of his neck fine, he can microwave it so that it doesn’t get too hot and it stays at the ideal temperature for a long time. it also stays in place whilst he is working (desk job).He uses it daily and there have been no issue with it.

Thanks to this pack, I have significantly reduced my ibuprofen dose and am back to my desk.

Good heat and easy to use – Nice and easy to use, and is a lot warmer than most other heat packs. Is still not as hot as I would personally like when using printed instructions, but can increase the heat by microwaving for longer with a mug of water to prevent burning. Bit smaller than expected.

Great for aching joints and muscles – A bit smaller than expected, but it retains heat well. My sister suffers with juvenile arthritis and she uses the bag to wrap around her wrist or ankles when they flare up. The bean bag is very soothing, providing warmth and allowing the joints and muscles to relax during these cold winter months.

This has helped with my wife neck pain, but follow the instructions carefully! – As I have said in a previous review , it pays to experiment with a shorter time in your microwave to get a comfortable temperature. Try starting with around 30 seconds less than suggested in the instructions, and adjust to your own preference.

Wheat Bag – Does not stay hot for very long.

Great buy, worth the extra few £’s – FAB, worth paying that little extra. The fabric seems like it wont set on fire like the fleece types ive purchased previously from different companies. Stays warm long enough too. Divided into 3 sections so the wheat beads don’t clump together all at one end. Evenly spreads so no hassles trying to even the wheat out. Very good and Will purchase the larger one soon tòo. (Have now purchased 2 additional bags)

Better than hot water bottle for pain – I’ve bought 2 of these one for my mother and one for myself. My mum suffers from arthritis and carpal tunnel pain in wrists. This wheat bag is much better than a hot water bottle as it is flexible and moulds your body. The only problem I would say is it doesn’t stay hot for ages but it is long enough to get some relief. I used mine on my neck and I got the lavender scented one has a nice relaxing scent.

  95. 5 out of 5

Soft and effective pain reliever – Great colour and soft material. Heats up quickly and pleasant on skin. Fits around neck and can place on or under a limb to relieve pain.

Long Lasting and very soothing – This is my second Wheat bag. My first one was bought nearly 6 years ago. I only bought a new one because the previous one is stained from a lot of use.Highly recommend this for neck pain. I also use it on my tummy and lower back.I’ve tried a few other heat packs but none of them have been as good or as long lasting as this brand.

  98. 5 out of 5

Good for supplying heat to aching joints – Being in three sections, the packing stays in one place. It also means that when laid on the contours of the body it moves less than a single section.

smells pretty and is a good price – Does what it’s meant to, smells pretty and is a good price!

  100. 5 out of 5

Brilliant – This is very good as the filling is in three sections so it doesn’t all fall to one end.

  101. 5 out of 5

Brilliant! – These are great. Because of the stitching, the lavender beads do not all drop to the bottom, keeping a good supply on the area you are treated. My second one arrived today. Worth every penny!

  102. 4 out of 5

Excellent – Excellent product …definitely helps neck pain

  103. 5 out of 5

Flexible – I like how can fold it into different shapes and lengths to reach different body parts. It’s usually veru hard to reach the upper back but with this its so easy. It is also really good for shoulder blades. I found 1min of heating makes it warm enough. It retains heat really well too. Be careful though, when it is not it can be extremely hot!

  104. 5 out of 5

Heat doesn’t stay long enough – Doesn’t hold heat for longer than about 20 mins but great for muscle relief and for my endometriosis. Flexible enough to use anywhere.

  105. 4 out of 5

Does what it says on the tin! – Exactly as advertised, gets nice and warm without burning you (800w microwave, 1:30) lasts an hour or more.

  106. 5 out of 5

arrived promptly & is exccelent at it’s job – Excellent; divided into 3 sections so all the filling doesn’t empty out of one part completely, ensuring an even density. Very very subtle scent of lavender, which subsides with multi-use.

Fantastic, easy, better than a hot water bottle – Never thought I’d be a fan, but absolutely brilliant. Better to wrap around than a hot water bottle and less aggro. Fantastic for sore muscles or achey pains

Helped with relief of knee pain. – You need a micro wave. Two minutes heats the wheat grain and warmth is released on to affected area. My wife found the microwave heat pack of great benefit in the winter months for knee pain. The wrap around effect helps target painful joints and ligaments. Would recommend this product particularly to those with with arthritic or sporting knee injury. My son, a basketball coach, recommended this product to us.
