Lovely and soothing wheat-bag with lavender, relief for aching muscles or arthritis. Great product.
I’ve bought gel packs several times in the past and they have been very good, but this one is a cut above the rest. It consists of: A reusable gel pack which can be put in the freezer for cold therapy. An ice pack sleeve which has elasticated / adjustable straps with Velcro fastenings which allows you to comfortably secure it around the injured body part (e,g, elbow knee, wrist). A grey gel pack sleeve. A draw-string insulated bag to carry your cold pack in. It is lined with reflective and slightly quilted material which keeps the pack cold / hot for quite a while. Overall, I think this is a good idea and the insulated bag is a great idea as you can use it while travelling. The gel pack is quite large which is good, and the sleeve is easy to put on, comfortable and also provides compression if needed. At the time of writing my review, the price was unavailable, so I am unable to comment on value for money, but I award five stars for design and functionality.
This gel ice pack comes with a luxury-feel fabric velcro wrap, a large gel pack that can be used hot or cold, a gel pack sleeve cover and a big insulated drawstring bag. All the parts have the brand logo on, the whole product looks professional and luxury. Using the gel pack is easy. It could be microwaved for 30sec or more up to the temperature you require, time depending on how powerful your microwave oven is and the ambient temperature. It can also be frozen in the freezer to use it as a cold patch. The gel pack can be inserted into the velcro wrap, which comes with a long elasticated strap, you can pretty much wrap it on any part of your limps. For hot use, I feel the gel pack is a bit thin, I got about 5 minutes of warmth and then it will need to be reheated. However, for cold use this does work better and longer. Overall, this is a very well-made product, the pouch included is very high quality and a good bag to put everything away.

Simple reusable ice pack – I use this mainly for knees it seems. It's not been used a huge amount over this last year but the strap is losing elastic. The rest of the accessories feel a bit of a waste as they're still in the box - my aim this year is to find a use for them! 😆 Can be used from the fridge, freezer or the microwave. Only difficult part is needing to lett it come to room temperature before swapping between the temperatures. A multi-pack of 2 of them at least would be much more helpful, or being able to buy a spare without all of the extras.

I've had it for ages now . Just covered it again – I have a bad neck and shoulders so heat this up every night and early morning . I've had to re- cover it but wouldn't be without it.

Nice cover – Very happy with this product

Really good – This is longer than my usual wheatbag which makes a difference it is good that one side is soft and the other side is a more robust cotton feel

Excellent slippers. – Received my microwave slippers this afternoon and tried them tonight. They warmed my Ice cold feet immediately and stayed warm long enough for me to be really comfortable and ready to sleep after reading in bed for an hour or so. I certainly recommend these slippers to anyone who suffers with chronic cold feet as I do. Definitely worth the money and much better than a hot water bottle.

Really warms up your feet. – Great slippers. Not too heavy. Warm in 2 minutes. Great buy

Not too heavy – Gift for friend. She was happy with the quality

Also good on ankles – It’s good to get some cool relief on a sprain or sore muscle, and even better if it can stay put. I’ve only used it for cooling therapy, so can’t comment on using it with heat. I find that it works well for about 20 minutes, then it gets put back in the freezer for the next time I need it. Well made.

Seams splitting after a few months use. – Have been happy with the two bags we purchased earlier this year - they did what was expected. However, recently both have split at one of the spacing seams. Have restitched them but the inner bag is of rather thin material and the seams do not have enough overlap. Needs a redesign!

Better than a hot water bottle – Helped with sore back. I really got it to use instead of a hot water bottle during winter. It won't leak!!! It's big size is brilliant

It's very useful and working – It's OK does work

Not as the tin said. – Did not stay cold for more than 20 mins. A bag of peas would be better.

Works well – This a good and handy product. I suffer with tension in my neck and shoulders - this brings relief.

It works! – Great after joint replacement for cooling affected area.

Size matters. – Nice length, not too short and just fits another cover from our old one. Could do with staying warmer for a bit longer than the hour ish, but having had my last one catch fire I am dubious about leaving for too long in the microwave even with the cup of water.

Pain relief – Lovely design. Ideal for neck pain
Dodster –
Very large – Ideal if you are needing a large ice pack to cover a big body part. Moulds well to curves of body. Very large to put in the freezer, so you need the space in the freezer for it, but if this is only a temp measure while recovering from an injury then this probably won't be a problem. It is quite heavy to handle so not so good for an older person.
mccaman425 –
Big enough to cover most body parts.0 – This arrived in perfect condition. This extra large ice pack is big enough to cover most body parts. Even when it's frozen, it's still pliable, so it doesn't need to take up much room in your freezer as it can be folded. It's one of those things that you think you won't need it, until you do, then you'll be glad that you have it.

Wheat bag – Its ok,but does not hold heat long.
Adjowa –
Very disappointed – I only ever used it the way it is adviced, but it has already been damaged by heat, and the grains have cooked. Terrible and pricey.

Large natural heat and cold pain relief blanket with useful insulated string bag – For those of us who are quite tall with longish limbs many of the ice and heat packs in use are just too small. This fills that space and can be used for heat as well as cold therapy. I was once given a useful guideline: For natural pain relief use ice and heat packs. Ice is nice for acute or new injuries Heat is neat for stiffness and muscle spasms Combine is fine to break the pain-spasm cycle This pack has a number of variations dependent on your individual needs. There is even more specific suggestions on the blanket. The velvety fabric side to your body offers cold and the nylon side offers a more intense cold. You microwave the gel packs in stages to get to the required heat. No need to remember these as they are on the ice / heat pack/ blanket itself. It is helpful to have the string bag that is insulated to keep contents cold and as a cover in the freezer before this if helpful. Or just as a storage bag and carrier. Just like the blanket well made and finished. This blanket easily folds into quarters to fit into the freezer or microwave. It is easy to wrap around and cover a large surface area. If you need it to stay in place when not horizontal you will need to find a way to strap this round. This blanket offers a versatile way to deal with pain naturally and cover a large area of the body. Recommended as a useful, storable item to have as part of your medicine cupboard and / or sports kit.

Nice and long – A good long wheat bag that is very comfortable and effective

Great size – This is a great size and I love it for my back pain. One thing though is to warm up it says 30 secs then 10 second intervals. But this is so big you would be there for ages doing that. I've been doing 1 min then 30 second intervals, changing the fold every 30 seconds
catsholiday –
Very large! – I had a chiropractic gel mat which I kept in the freezer for my back when it ached. Sadly this started to leak so I had to get rid of it. This does an even better job as it doesn't need to be wrapped in a cloth before applying it to your body. It is easy to bend to fit over knees or apply to your bak. It covers a large area so you don't have to keep moving it to reach different parts of your back. The other benefit of this is that it can not only be used as a cold pack but also a warm pack too. This is great for period pains as it helps relieve those when warmed. You can apply it to your tummy or lower back depending on where you get the worst period pains. It has clear instructions and comes in a box tokeep it safe.

Great idea, easy to use, helps me to reduce the pain. – This reusable extra large ice pack - 60 x 38cm is quite heavy as it weights approx. 1.7kg. Arrived boxed with free insulated drawstring backpack. To be effective it should be kept in the freezer or fridge. If kept in the fridge for longer, the pad is colder and keeps the cold for longer. It is covered in the soft fabric, so it is pleasant for the skin. I usually use it cooled for 2 hours in the fridge as I don't have any space in freezer. It stays cold for long. I use it on my back as I have problem with arm and upper back pain. This cold compress eases the pain significantly, especially when on the affected areas. It can be also used as a warm compress, just has to be heated in the microwave, but for my pain cold compress works better. All instructions how to use it are printed on the gel pack itself and on the box. Great idea, easy to use, helps me to reduce the pain, just because of the size sometimes it is difficult to squeeze it into the fridge. Works well, resonably priced for the size, so I would happily recommend it. It is the biggest cold pack I have.

Always good to have one at home – I think it is one of those products that, maybe not today, but one day you will need. Whether there are children, teenagers, adults or elderly people at home, it is easy for any of us to have some kind of pain, whether it is a blow, a contracture, or even a burn (cold blanket)! This blanket is quite simple aesthetically, it doesn't need a sophisticated exterior design. I guess it's on the inside that there will be more to it. It is a rectangle in which each side is made of a material, one softer than the other. The instructions, printed on the blanket to avoid losing them (a positive point) explain what to use each side for, depending on whether we want to feel more or less cold/warm. In general it is well made and quite rigid as it is a hard fabric, but it allows some flexibility to adjust to the curves, for example for the neck, shoulders, etc... It is very easy to use, either cold (freezing) or hot (heating at short intervals), supporting or surrounding the area to be treated. For cold we may have used products such as frozen peas, with this pad we save ourselves from getting wet and having to throw those peas away if we defrost them many times. To cool it we will not have too much problem as the freezers are usually large. To heat it up we may have more problems. The blanket is quite big, which is good for its use but not so good if we have to put it in a small microwave. We will have to fold it, making each zone heat up in a different way. The package also includes an insulated carrying bag.

Soft and comfortable – This is a lovely favourite part that I can be used as an ice pack or heated in the microwave for warm therapy it’s very well-made with one side having a velvety feel it’s very large and he supplied with a matching colour drawstring bag if I put my hand on my leg I can get relief from the arthritic pain by covering my hand and my knee at the same time it will be very good for back pain I have only used it for a cold therapy but can highly recommend this extra large pad priced at £24.95 at the time of this review very good value as it works

Fantastic hot/cold therapy pack – Extra large velvet touch (one side) gel pack Suitable for cold therapy (place in freezer for approx 2hrs) & hot therapy (place in microwave 800W for 30secs) Super oversized plush pad - large enough to cover adults back from the neck to the base Perfect for all sorts of sports injuries or for medical discomforts Instructions are printed on the reserve side of the pad Comes in a insulated drawstring bag for easy storage Very impressed with the quality much nicer than others I had in the past Excellent value for money Would highly recommend

Fabulous – This heaty wheaty is awesome! It smells amazing, fits snug against my neck and the heat gets to exactly where I need it. Fabulous.

A very effective hot/cold gel pack set – This is the largest gel pack that I’ve come across, although the ‘headline’ for this item is “Reusable Extra Large Ice Pack for Back & Legs (60x38 cm) - Cold Blanket for Recovery - Flexible Gel from Freezer & Extra-Soft Fabric - Sports Injuries, Pain Relief and Cold Therapy” - you can actually use it for ‘heat treatment’. Getting this ready for ‘cold treatment’ is simple, it just goes into your fridge or freezer for a couple of hours before applying it. A bit of care is required for the heat treatment though as you need to zap it in the microwave for 30 seconds, if it is not warm enough then you can zap it again for 10 seconds at a time – if the pack starts to bulge then you must stop to let it cool off. They have incorporated a fleecy side to the pack for comfort. This is a very effective hot/cold gel pack set, it is large enough to cover most of your back so will help to sooth injuries to large areas of the body. I’m happy with this and can recommend.

Fantastic flexible "cold-comfort"... Extremely well made & versatile. – This is an interesting product, the exact likes of which I have not come across before. The Ice Pack is a fabric constructed gel filled product that you can pop in the freezer (or the fridge if you don't want it too cold) and it's large enough to apply to your entire back, or legs etc. The pad can be used either warm or cool but we only need the cooling effect. I was particularly impressed with the build quality as the pad is very well sewn with piping around the edges and every area I inspected was to a high standard. Thoughtfully the manufacturer has put a plush soft fabric on one side which allows for a more gentle cooling effect - the other side is smooth nylon and that transmits the cold much more directly. Supplied with the pad is an insulated drawstring bag which obviously can be used to store the pad, or as a simple insulated bag for any purpose. We popped the pad into the freezer for a few hours. My concern was that when the pad was frozen and taken out that it would not be easy to bend/fold but actually it works superbly well. There are three lines of plastic 'studs' that mean there's an area that's foldable as it is thinner than the rest of the pad. We had no problems with placing and moulding the pad to the body because of this. The pad stayed cold for several hours which was also impressive. Instructions are permanently printed on the nylon side of the pad. This is an excellent product and it will be used by myself and my wife. I tend to get an 'iffy' back now and again and I think that my wife will use it on her legs more. I am sure the pad will have many more usage possibilities that we will discover in the future... it could even be handy for taking out when shopping to cover some of the food shopping bags an keep the contents cool until we get home etc. For under £24 this is a good buy because of the quality of the product, the addition of the insulated bag and the fact that the pad has been well designed and works very well. Highly delighted with it.

Fantastic. – Really easy to use. I find it really helps with some of my worst back aches, if I lie on my front with this on my back.

Smells amazing – Lovely quality smells amazing extra long lovely gift

Great size and really efficient – This wheat sack is so much better than a long skinny one. Great for keeping feet cosy in bed and I can't manage to fill a hot water bottle. Very safe and really holds the heat
Radeon –
Effective – Its maleable and reusable which are two important features. It relieves the pain and the swelling on the applied area. This flexible ice pack is well made and its velcro straps are very convenient so it can be applied not only on the arms and elbows but in pretty much any area of the body without the need for holding it. Dont forget to use a cloth or use it above the clothes not to freeze/burn the skin. This ice pack made from nylon on the outside its resistant and long lasting.

Great for my arms when they're not feeling so great – Good quality product overall. I review quite a few things and usually say if something is terrible 🙂 But this one is definitely one I would recommend to others.
Chris –
Just clunky to use – I was thinking this would just strap on, and I could carry on doing stuff, but unless you're just sitting still it's not secure at all. This means it's basically no better than any other ice pack I own which is a shame.
Chris –
These packs are brilliant – These are so good when you have a bad back, it makes me a bit nervous heating them because my microwave is so small it catches on the sides, but I love having this on the back of the sofa in the evening. Another use that I read in another review that I'm excited about trying is freezing it and then using it under my pillow in the summer, who doesn't like the cold side of a pillow?

Reusable gel ice pack – So the description states this is a:- Reusable gel ice packs for elbow & arms 28cm x 17cm. Hot & cold compress wrap for tennis & golf injuries:- Tendonitis, fractured, pain. Ice bag compress with strap for elbow relief. These reusable ice packs can be used for both cold and hot therapy. I have added below what they recommend, but we as a family use alot of this type of products. I keep this pack in the freezer at all time, because they at hand when ever it's needed. Once used I clean with antibacterial spray or wipe and them place back in the freezer ready for next time. *** Cold therapy:- Cool for 1 hour in the freezer, keep the ice bags for chronic injuries at room temperature for 10 minutes before applying it to the area to be treated. *** Hot therapy:- Place the reusable heat pads inside the microwave for 30 seconds at 800W, The compression band you place the pack into is Velcro fastening, so it's totally adjustable and can be tightened or loosen whenever or where ever is needed. This product does feel like really good quality and that it is made to last. Only time will tell, so it's a product that I will have to update this review in time. But so far so good. *** Details:- * Size:- One Size. * The 28x17 cm elbow ice pack * 30cm x 8.5 cm compression band * Material:- Nylon * Colour:- Grey

Good when heat or cold is the way to ease pain – I am a big fan of using heat or cold as an efficient pain relief without needing medication. It works best when applied locally to the affected area but when you are trying to use around joints, it can be difficult. This pack gets around that simply and efficiently. What you get is a small gel filled pack that can either be chilled in a freezer or heated in a microwave. Once at the correct temperature it is put on the affected area and the provided elasticated strap wrapped around to hold it in place. Because of this method, it is important to make sure the pack is not very cold or hot to avoid causing further damage. Having used this periodically over the past month I have found it to be highly effective for easing my elbow joints and allowing me to recover faster and without tablets. For this reason, I recommend this pack - especially as it is reusable many times over.

Helped Alot – Really helped ease tennis elbow. Qell made and happy to recommend
Chapel’s Dad –
Not just for elbows and arms – I’m not sure why this is aimed at arms and elbows in the product title as it can be used for all areas of the body, in actual fact it’s not great for elbows as it isn’t shaped to suit. The packs take a while to get down to a cold temperature so I pop it in the freezer before I play sport, then if I hurt myself (which is relatively frequently) it’ll be ready for use. I have had it in the freezer for up to 5 hours and it hasn’t frozen, I haven’t tried for longer but I get the impression that it won’t go solid. The pack is reasonably thick so it stays cold for a good amount of time - I haven’t tried it for heat but I don’t see why you wouldn’t get similar results. Happy to recommend..

Effective Ice pack - works well for the elbows – I really like this ice pack. I pop it in the freezer for a few hours, it has an insert which you put it in and then the main wrap which you can wrap around the elbow and it lasts for 30 minutes or more and I can use it on both elbows , one after the other and not still having it cold. Initially it was tricky to try and wrap it around myself and needed a hand but over time I have figured out a way. It is not the easiest to do that but I have managed. Overall it works really well, as I suffer from golfers/tennis elbow, this really helps me and it works well.
Budding Artist –
works alright for wrist – I use this for my wrist tendonitis. It freezes up pretty quickly. The ice bag can be used for hot or cold wrap. The cold therapy works really well on my wrist and it calms my injured tendon very quickly. The shape is like a whole pack and it is not the easiest to wrap. I normally will ask my husband to help. It has a fabric wrap that can keep the ice bag cool.

Elbow compression gel kit. – I ordered this product as I have been diagnosed with tennis elbow and other than pain relief and exercises there is nothing else that can be done. Nice packaged and well branded product inside a sealed box, all items 'Premium Gel Packs' logo and branding throughout which is different to the FeelRecovery logo in pictures. Supplied with pull string nylon bag which is perfect to store gel packs, ice bag compress and pad when not in use. Gel packs are really easy to use, put in freezer for 3 hours for cold compress or heat in microwave for 30 seconds for warm compress. Both options work well but best natural anti-inflammatory relief I get is from cold compress, using gel packs straight from freezer. Only issue I have it is difficult to strap into place on your self as really needs two hands. Overall, excellent hot and cold reusable compression kit. I would recommend this product.
