How to use the multi-purpose heat pack on any area of the body?

How long to heat it in the microwave or in the oven?

This model can be heated for approximately 2 minutes at a power of 800W and less time for powers of 1000W or higher. This depends a lot on your microwave, we recommend that the first few times you are going to use it, try with a shorter time and increase the duration until you reach the desired temperature. To use in the oven, although less advisable because of the dangers it can cause, if you do not have a microwave oven this is a good alternative, always use an electric oven and heat for 10 to 15 minutes at 257°F (125ºC), always controlling the oven at all times. Do not use gas oven.

How can I maintain it to make it last longer and increase its shelf life?

The hot pillow is a totally natural product, we do not use synthetic materials or ingredients, therefore it is necessary to maintain it. We recommend heating in microwave every 2-3 months when not in use to avoid deterioration of the seeds and lavender flowers. Every 8-10 uses it is advisable to rehydrate the seeds by placing a container of water along with the bag inside the microwave or in the oven to create steam, and this will moisten the seeds and thus increase their shelf life. You can store it inside the box in a dry and dark place.

How long does the hot or cold seed filled pillow last?

Believe it or not, if you use it to warm the bed, the heat can last practically all night, although normally when we use it on some part of the body, the heat gradually disappears and lasts approximately 25-30 minutes, more than enough to relieve any kind of pain. In cold, once we take it out of the freezer, it stays cold for about 15-20 minutes, this will depend on the outside temperature, a plus point is that you can use it directly on your skin as it has a cotton cover and you will not be at risk of getting cold burns.

Sheer bliss.

Contrary to expectations, this Heat Pad retained heat much longer than expected. I settle it into place, it felt wonderful, I soon had a nap, and it was still warm when I awoke an hour later. Very well made, with washable cover. which is easy to remove and replace, and very delicate lavender perfume.
